This short film by Ryan Moss is a collection of his favorite clips that shot over the past several years. “It is also a tribute to a era when you used to have to wait a few years for the latest surf film to come out.” says Ryan “Campaign 2 was one of the lasts of it’s kind. Back when surfing used to be edgy and surf flicks got you incredibly amped to go out and charge your local surf break. Hopefully this short film will do the same and to those who lived in that era, bring back some fond memories.”

A part of Carve’s partnership with the surfing Association of Papua New Guinea Splinters tour was to get pro surfers Alan Stokes and Celine Gehret out to the islands to explore the waves, culture and stunningly beautiful coastline of Papua New Guinea; one of surfing’s last frontiers. The result is in the new issue out now, and this is Stokers video of the trip which incidentally features THE best tune I have ever heard from a bamboo orchestra… someone call up iTunes!
