People think that scoring good waves is all about showing up and scoring, but its a really thin line between actually scoring good waves and spending a tone of money and not getting anything.
On the last big south swell we had to make a though call between leaving behind pumping 8-10ft Bankvaults and getting into a 7hr canoe ride to score some epic Greenbush . Its those last minute decisions that make or break, it’s leaving the comfortable and roaming into the unconfortable. Was it worth it??? HELL YESS!!!
What an epic journey to spend my birthday, one to be remembered.
Well I thought this was good timing to post this considering the @bbcnews story of #sharkencounters and how my perception has changed. Listen, as I gasp for air the moment I see the surfer. I knew they were there because the #whiteshark had passed them previously to get to the #fishschool, the #surfers snuck up out of the bush on this remote beach and I didn’t have time to tell them , @themalibuartist sees #greatwhites passing people on a regular basis over in California. Notice how the white shark actually gets freaked by the surfer and darts off around the right off the screen. This #shark🦈 I estimate at around 1.75 to 1.8 m small juvenile
Don’t forget it’s their ocean and we still need to respect them and attacks can happen but are extremely rare, more rare than we previously thought, now we can see what’s going on from air. - @dronesharkapp

Carve; When was this all filmed was it pre pandemic?
Harry : The trip started before the pandemic and ended with us being stuck in a hotel not being able to leave and about six grand down on flights so I guess you could say we finished in the thick of it!

Where did you go?
We went to Indo spent most of the time at Lakey Peak and also did some trip to West Sumbawa also a quick pandemic trip to Scotland!
Highlights of the trip and film for you?
The highlight of any Indo trip is getting barrelled, but I’m just stoked that we have a full video to put out and throw a good party with it.
Did you nearly get stuck there? Could have been worse I suppose! lol
Yes we did get stuck there and it was a nightmare. they were policing the beaches and you weren’t allowed to surf this was when it really hit and we just wanted out.
Did you miss Indo this year?
Yes! Next summer it’s on the cards.
