The Black Baron 2.1 has been stretched out and refined with a touch more rocker added. This allows the 2.1 to excel in bigger more powerful conditions with more control than you would get from a traditional fish outline. Deeper concave in the middle with a slightly shallower concave in the nose and tail helps water flow and offers maximum drive. The additional centre fin also allows you to ride it as a Twin+1 when you want to tone down the glide and looseness. If the Black Baron is your go to summer ripper then the 2.1 is the board you grab from the car when the swell suddenly doubles up.
