Asymmetrical boards are designed around you as a surfer. Made with the fact, that we are not able to surf the same on our heels as we do on are toes. This is the most user friendly design to have been made in the late ’60s. On our toes we can turn a straight rail easily and produce more drive as we have more balance. On our heels is a different story. We don’t have the balance, so adding a curved rail line we can create more control. More control = more balance. The drive comes from the quads and channels. This is a well rounded board design. A must have in any quiver.
