It’s not only the lads that are building up a name down at Sennen. Meet Lowenna Murley, one of the friendliest people you will ever meet, I mean seriously she physically can’t be mean, even in jest. Apart from being a sweetie she kills it in the water. She is always surfing apart from when she is revising (which is more often than healthy) and has a busy week every week. How she finds time to model for Nalu Beads as well I will never know. Here is the lady herself. Oh and she is 15.
Why did you start surfing?
“To start with, my cousin Sam Tellam was coaching at Sennen Surfing Centre; a surf school at Sennen, and he recommended we come along to try it out. It was just a sort of new experience to start with. After my first lesson I realized that I wanted to go surfing again and again. It became not just my hobby but my addiction through out the last three and a half years.”
If you could be any famous person who would you be, and why?
“This is a hard one, but probably Laura Enever, because she such a sick surfer and has really nice style. Not only has she got the looks she’s got the moves in the water too.”
Where is your favorite break, and why?
“My favorite break has to be Sennen, purely because Sennen isn’t just a break to me, it’s extremely beautiful place where I had my first wave and have gradually learnt to surf and progress to even have some of the best waves of my life. I have a lot of amazing memories there, and many more to come.”
