Hashtag (FST)

Specifications:

6’0″ x 19 1/2″ x 2 5/8″
(Volume 31.0 L)

Fins: Thruster/Quad
Shaper: Nev Hyman
Tail: Round

The

Hashtag was developed by Nev and a collection of pros looking for a board that specializes in smashing lazier waves. Starting with a bit of Hellrazor DNA, Nev added volume and reduced the tail rocker giving the board more drive and squirt when the waves lose a bit of steam. The stepped round tail keeps the board feeling buttery when linking maneuvers and maximizes bite to allow for a vertical attack when desired. It has modest entry rocker and a mellow double concave starting near the middle of the board that deepens as it travels through the fins. This makes it super lively when surfed on rail and gives experienced surfers the tools to be aggressive in the pocket.

Double Agent (FST)

Specifications:
5’8″ x 21 1/2″ x 2 5/8″
(Volume 31.3 L)

Fins: Thruster/Quad
Shaper: Dan Mann
Tail: Round

Inspired by skimboarders ability to pull off huge slashing carves and airs on incredibly thin boards with curvy outlines. The Double Agent has a noticeably thin tail allowing for very sensitive rail to rail turns and an extra pop of flex when you unload at the completion of a turn. The thicker foil up front preserves elevated paddle power and keeps the float under your chest. The other unique feature of this design is a double barrel concave that runs from nose to tail, adding to the board’s sensitivity under front foot loading.

Nano (FST)

Specifications:

5’6″ x 18 3/4″ x 2 3/8″
(Volume 28.6 L)

Fins: Thruster/Quad
Shaper: Daniel Thomson
Tail: Square

The original MPH (Modern Planing Hull). The Nano is a true example of a 21st century modern thruster. It is a user friendly all around board but a radical performer with free flowing speed and a very natural controlled ride. Effortlessly fast and loose, yet predictable and drivey, the Nano ticks all the boxes. The rider really feels as though they can pull off any manoeuvre and it rides with a very pure sensation of flow. Featuring a clean, foiled shape, a wide point forward of center, a round nose for smooth turns and a wide chopped tail with soft corners for exceptional speed and glide. The straight rail line through the back end of the board will provide the necessary control through turns.

Unibrow (Timberdeck)

Specifications:

5’10” x 19 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

(Volume 30.2 L)

Fins: Thruster/Quad
Shaper: Dan Mann
Tail: Round

The Unibrow is a cross between a regular short board and the Dominator, Sweet Potato and Potato-Nator. The outline curve is compressed from a regular shortboard without sacrificing the width needed to maximize paddling and planing speed. The goal was to design a very high-performance shortboard that didn’t feel too ‘bulky’ in good surf when you can ride something other than a groveller. The rail profile is dropped and very sensitive, especially through the tail. The bottom has an aggressive single concave that starts in the nose, carries through the deep spot forward of the fins and splits into a subtle double concave that then directs the water flow to the inside of the front fins.

Baked Potato (Timberdeck)

Specifications:

5’3″ x 21 1/4″ x 2 3/8″
(Volume 32.4 L)

Fins: Quad
Shaper: Dan Mann
Tail: Diamond

The Baked Potato offers the same small wave performance as the Sweet Potato with a few design adjustments. The nose is pulled in slightly and some of the rail volume has been removed to allow for even faster rail to rail transfers. It has aggressive double concaves and ‘V-spline’ running down the center of the board which allows the board to get up on the rail much faster than the overall design would indicate. Primarily designed for smaller, weaker conditions, this board will surprise you by its performance characteristics, and how the quad fins set further back and closer to the rail than usual, allow the board to hold without sliding, even in larger surf.

Vanguard (LFT)

Specifications:

5’8″ x 19″ x 2 1/2″

(Volume 32.2 L)

Fins: Thruster/Quad
Shaper: Daniel Thomson
Tail: Double Diamond

The hydrodynamic architecture of the Vanguard opens the door to a fresh approach to surfboard design and the art of riding waves. The outline of the Vanguard is the foundation. Ultra parallel lines allow the design to be ridden smaller and narrower than previously considered functional. The parallel outline reduces drag, thus increasing dynamic planing lift yielding more speed via less water resistance. Although geared for high performance shredding, the Vanguard is surprisingly easy to ride for a wide range of surfing abilities.
