FEVER

Dimensions: 5’10” x 18 5/8″ x 2 5/16″
Volume: 26.5ltr
Fins: 3 Fin
Shaper: Al Merrick

The Fever is the latest performance shortboard from the Channel Islands shaping bay. An all-round performance board, designed to offer speed, drive and flair. The result is an easily accessible board that can be surfed in a wide variety of conditions from 2-3ft weak beachies right up to 6ft+ punchy waves, the likes of Snapper, J-Bay and Bell’s. The Fever will fill the gap between your groveller right up to your step-up.

SAMPLER

Dimensions: 5’8″ x 19 1/4″
x 2 3/8″
Volume: 28.2ltr
Fins: 3 Fin Futures
Shaper: Al Merrick

The Sampler is at the high end of the grovellers. Loosely taken from the Dumpster Diver, but more refined and with a much more pronounced pivotal hip. A flat and racy rocker right through the board until a curve in the tail allows for tight transitional turns into airs. There’s a generous single concave running through the whole board, with a double inside the single between the fins, running to a slight vee in the tail. All in all this board will fly in the slack stuff and and create more speed as you hack into your turns.

OG FLYER SPINE-TEK

Dimensions: 5’10” x 19 1/4 x 2 7/16″
Volume: 29.4ltr
Fins: 3 Fin
Shaper: Al Merrick

Spine-Tek technology utilises a precision engineered, lightweight stringer, replacing the traditional heavier wood stringer with a unique formula of fibreglass and resin. The OG Flyer is best described as an everyday board for everyday conditions. Born in the late ’90s as a solution to his team rider’s dilemma of needing more speed in smaller, less powerful waves. Al Merrick chopped length, added width and decreased rocker from the then-standard overly narrow surfboards, to make the Flyer. The Flyer is without a doubt the most ridden and enjoyed surfboard in all of Channel Islands surfboard history.
