Showing a different reality of cold water surfing, Scottish style, the hardcore women who dress head to toe in neoprene, who take to the sea despite freezing temperatures.

Ice ice baby, there are two waves people surf during the winter; Dessert Wave and Sewer Wave. In this video they talk with Gab, a local who has been surfing rivers since 2018, during winter trying to avoid getting knocked out by the ice, fun times.

Joel Stevenson says the ocean is for everyone, and no one has a claim on any one spot, he’s been threading a slab in Norway by himself. It’s fair to say Joel and his brother Jason Stevenson (JS Industries) know a thing or two about surfing and surfboards between them. Look out for the documentary coming soon. As for the spot, according to Joel, it’s easy to find, we’ll see.

When I saw this swell coming I knew I had to get out of LA and find a good, deep water surf spot to film. After talking it over with my friend and surf forecaster Mike Durand (Swell Magnet) I knew the answer was Blacks Beach in San Diego.
My chase down to San Diego payed off with big set waves, barrels and wipeouts. The surfing was insane. – Brad Jacobson

With a 40 foot swell on the forecast we jumped on a plane to surf one of the best waves in the world. A last minute strike mission paid off and Leonardo Fioravanti, Joey Johnston, and Cody Young surfing a firing Hawaiian point-break.
