The last couple of days has seen the first proper swell of the season hit the east coast with Coolangatta as good as anywhere. As per usual, the best in the business have been making it look even better than it’s been. Jesse Adam, Korbin Hutchings, Dion Atkinson, Chris Zaffis, Liam O’Brian, Ben Webb and more.
While the masses are flocking to the North side of Tahiti for the northerly summer swell, a few lucky ones saw the sneaky SW swell coming for the local spot Taapuna and scored.
What’s really going on here, it’s a mild melt to get your head around any of it.
It’s fair to say that surfing has gone XXL recently, massive swells have brought mutant waves to most of the planet. With that in mind let’s pull-in with Kerby Brown and crew as they take on this WA beast.
