Tanked

Tanked

I’m still pretty much in disbelief at the waves we saw while tanker surfing in South Carolina. I’m claiming the surf went mega! The dream is almost too real right now and it keeps getting gnarlier. Thank you for all the stoke and support for the dream. – Ben

Mason & Michael Ho

Mason & Michael Ho

Mason goes surfing with his Dad Michael Ho at Ehukai Beach Park on the North Shore of Oahu. Nothing like some good wipeouts together for a little family bonding. How many 63 year olds would still pull into pummelling pits like this?

Pre-Pandemic Perspective

A collection of clips from a solo Scottish road trip before Covid-19 changed life as we knew it – Ed Smith.

Firing Witch’s Rock

Firing Witch’s Rock

Witches rock is that one place on everyone’s wish list ever since Endless Summer 2 put the spot on the map back in 1992. I was on vacation in Costa Rica, the swell popped up and we went over there to get barrel. We even checked in with Endless Summer original Pat O’Connell to know about the crocodiles that surround the place. Guess what?? We really saw them and scored some epic barrels with the Hurley young European team Sam Piter and Dean Vandewalle.

The Forgotten Summer

The Forgotten Summer

The good thing about archives is that you can revisit these timeless memories. Last summer, brought Mathis Crozon and Maxime Dos Anjos together in the South of the Landes. Side by side rather than face to face, as is the case for these competitors during the stages of the QS circuit.

The two young surfers share some common traits, especially concerning their island past. The first one arrived in Reunion Island at the age of seven. The second, at the age of five. After having made their debut on similar spots, between Saint-Leu and Trois-Bassins, Mathis and Maxime went to the South-West of France as teenagers.
