Hellman Kerby Brown

Hellman Kerby Brown

Kerby Brown is not one to hold back when it comes to crazy slabs. He's not afraid to get towed in from deep, hug a dry rock ledge and then proceed to get spat out of a draining barrel. It is a truly unique approach which makes for exciting viewing.

Enjoy this raw edit of Kerby and his team doing what they do best. The last wave of the edit is Imogen Caldwell, another local WA charger, getting on the end of the tow rope.

Jordy Smith – Ep 5

Jordy Smith – Ep 5

When I woke up the next morning and realised I had to get surgery, everything kind of sunk in. - Jordy Smith.

With the realisation that something wasn’t right and the subsequent diagnosis of a grade 3 torn LCL requiring immediate reconstructive surgery, Jordy’s year quickly flipped upside down. Unable to continue the World Championship Tour, his position in the world title race was compromised, and competing in the 2020 Olympics was no longer a reality. But Jordy being Jordy, focused on the challenge of rehab and getting back in the water.

Episode 5 is a unique insight into what it takes to be a world-class athlete and two action sequences that are evidence that Jordy is back and ready for 2022.

'Silver Linings' is a series starring Jordy Smith. The episodic journey covers the incredible highs and devastating lows Jordy experienced in his life over the past 18 months. From entering fatherhood to scoring the best waves he's seen at home, to facing a near career-ending injury forcing him to pull out of the Olympics, this series documents the rollercoaster ride Jordy has been on and the 'Silver Linings' that he encounters within his journey.

Slab Happy

Ollie O'Flaherty and crew had an amazing run of swell this Christmas, unusually quiet, whilst people were busy with last minute shopping, they scored relatively empty waves that would normally have attracted people from abroad and all over Ireland. 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌

Home

Home

Home has always been more than just a place.

It’s a cultural concept, an ideal, a kind of loyalty and a connection with the rest of the world.

Yet our place of residence became all the more important over the pandemic as we were told to 'stay home'. For many of us, this led to a reappraisal of what home really means and how important that is in our lives.

Travelling Aussie surfer, Rhys Smith, had just settled in the North East of England when restrictions were imposed, and this film explores how he forged deep bonds with the waves and the people in his new ‘home’.
