PRAIA DE SUPERTUBOS, Peniche, Portugal (Friday, March 4, 2022) – Stop No. 3 on the World Surf League (WSL) 2022 Championship Tour (CT), the MEO Pro Portugal presented by Rip Curl has been called back ON, starting at 7:32 a.m GMT in Peniche.
The swell building yesterday has reached the shores of Portugal and surfers will have to contend with big, powerful surf on the second day of action at Supertubos.
The remaining heats of the men’s Opening Round will be out first in the water, with Filipe Toledo (BRA), Connor O’Leary (AUS) and wildcard Justin Becret (FRA) in the day’s opening heat.
The men’s Elimination Round will follow and the Round of 32 could also be completed later in the day.
