Just before the outbreak of covid, Kristian Breivik from Lofoten Surfsenter, asked me to come to Jeffries Bay in South Africa, to make a documentary about a group of surf legends from California, by the name Wallbenders.
Two weeks ago I heard the sad news that their “leader” Rolf Sorenson (he would never call himself the leader) has gotten very ill. The insurance does not cover all expenses and it is becoming a burden mentally and physically.
We decided to publish the video now and draw attention to Wallbender’s fundraiser, to help Rolf.
