Very saddened to hear of the death of John Shimooka.
John was stand out Hawaiian junior along side his friend Sunny Garcia. He reached 19 on the world tour and was one of the most popular surfers on the tour and indeed where ever he travelled due to his fun loving nature.
He went on to be a WSL Commentator and surfer manager.
