Lake Ontario is one of the five Great Lakes of North America, and it gets waves. Surrounded on the north, west, and southwest by the Canadian province of Ontario, and on the south and east by the American state of New York, whose water boundaries meet in the middle of the lake. Ontario, Canada’s most populous province, was named for the lake. With a shoreline of over 712 miles (1,146 km)long, it’s the prefect place to social distance yourself from any one else, anywhere!
During the spring of 2020, with the planet in full Covid flow, lake surfers Aurélien Bouché-Pillon and Ryan James distanced themselves from society to on the shores of the Lake.
