If you rock up to check what’s going down at Pipe odds on you’ll do it from the Ehukai beach park. This little unbuilt on oasis on the North Shore is a rare undeveloped beach lot and if you look left you stare into the maw of Pipe, out front are shifting sand bars that when the swell is small can sometimes throw up some mental shapes.
