The 2016 TCT Global Champs kicked off yesterday with the hottest up-and-coming surfers from around the world who qualified for Champs this year travelled near and far to beautiful Lower, Trestles in San Clemente for the four day event with great surf and conditions! The swell arrived in perfect time and Round 1 heats of Groms, Squids, and Girls all ran finishing with the Squids quarterfinals heats.
The SSW swell looks promising for the next three days of competition with wave heights holding at 4-7ft and conditions in the fair-to-good range.
