Legendary Australian bodyboarder Ben Player has been admitted to intensive care in Ireland after being airlifted from Rileys (via Jamie Mitchell). He’s got a ruptured spleen and internal bleeding. Ben took a hit surfing another wave in the area and collapsed while watching Rileys. Luckily locals including Peter Conroy were on hand and called in the ‘copter when they realised the severity of the situation. Get well soon you ledge.
