Wipeouts are always funny. Unless you’re in massive waves like these. In which case it’s testament to the super human abilities of these guys that survive having half the ocean land on their head.
Which is your pick for the worst?

Cool clip from Ireland by Ian Mitchinson.
Cape Town/Kommetjie surfer Cameron Gouws visited Ireland for a few weeks in February 2014. From the few clips captured I decided to put together this little edit. Hope you enjoy.
How we laughed at “The Shaper’ when he came up with a new concept “The Wavefu**er” but Paul Fisher has taken the concept a little further with the “Dick” surfboard. Although Fisher’s Dick looks a bit thin and weird it actually got really loose in the pocket providing the perfect combination between a smooth entry, aggressive pumping and creative positioning … The Dick’s drive seems to derive from the huge balls which give the board momentum while the perfectly rounded tip allowed early penetration.
While there had been rumours of some pro’s on tour riding Dicks for many years they have always kept it behind closed doors and this is the first time anyone has revealed their weapon in public. Rumours are also circulating that a couple of top womens pro’s have ordered quivers. Look out for the photos shoots…
You do get the odd day of gold in the damp, grey gloom of an English winter.
A five hour swim for Sharpy resulted in this 😀
“It was a privilege to witness one of the best sessions I’ve ever seen from the water.”
See the land angle of most of these waves here…
Stop what you’re doing and watch this. Surfing and friendship can change lives.
