Breaking Through

Breaking Through is a British and Irish surf film made entirely by UK surfers, to show the passion, dedication and lifestyle all British surfers share.
The film follows many British and Irish professional surfers on their journeys around the British isles and abroad through out this last epic winter.
With multiple British surf film makers contributing to their own different sections highlighting the different styles within the British video scene. Including Mr B who is a well established British surf film maker for many years producing films such as, Relative (2012), 21 Days Later (2009) and Substance (2008), as well as contributing his valuable knowledge and guidance throughout this production. And professional surfer Oli Adams who has been contributing his many talents to his own professional edits for over a year.
Overall this film gives every surfer from Am to Pro an insight into the beautiful locations the British Isles has to offer, and the surfers who brave lengthy travels and harsh conditions to look for those perfect waves that don’t come every day.
After following British talents around the UK for the last 3 years I believed it was time to show through my eyes what I’ve been privileged to witness and share these amazing adventures. Director – Ashton Wadey
