It’s the volcanic east end of Russia and as such is primed for Pacific swell. It’s not an easy place to travel without a good 4×4 or an old Russian military chopper taxi. But as a dose of wanderlust inducing imagery this hits the spot…

Tim Bisso – RENASCIMENTO

Sometimes you just need to sit back and regroup. Find a place you can call home. Where you can recharge. Tim Bisso, 22, former WSL World Junior Championship runner-up and Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach trials winner, has done exactly that.

After travelling the globe for a couple of years grinding on the WQS, constantly being on the move and not getting the results he wanted, Tim has found his new home in Ericeira, Portugal.

Two back-to-back WQS wins (Tenerife / Senegal) are proof that Tim’s confidence is back, that he is ‘reborn’ as his latest clip title says.

This clip was filmed entirely in and around Ericeira.

Game of Kook: Ep 4 Maud vs Clare

The latest drop of Game of Kook just dropped featuring Maud Le Car, Clare Gaya, and, err, an inflatable unicorn.

We’re all familiar with a Game of SKATE, but a Game of KOOK? What’s that you ask?

Basically like SKATE, but in the ocean.”

To keep the flow going the following are the ‘official’ rules of Game of KOOK:

– Two surfers take each other on.

– A game of rock, paper, scissors determines who sets the first challenge.

– The next person sets the next trick.

– If you fail to do the challenge you get a letter.

– If you both fail then you both get a letter.

– If you both achieve the challenge then whoever does the weakest / lamest attempt gets the letter.

– Only 2 attempts per challenge.

– If it’s a tie break on the final ‘K’, the first person to complete the trick is the winner.

– The first person to K.O.O.K is the looser
