Making the best out of a day of Waimea river surfing, Pipeline surfing, fishing and rolling with John John Florence and Jordy Smith.
During the course of a UK Pro Surf Tour year, a lot happens. Standout performances, closely fought battles, first-time winners, title races, incredible manoeuvres and final second heroics. So much happens so quickly and then we’re off and focused on the next stop and we don’t get much time to contemplate on everything that’s transpired.
So before this season begins, I thought it would be nice to look back at what happened last year and remember some of the best moments from 2018. It really was a year to remember, with some amazing improvements to the tour and its coverage and incredible performances from all age categories.
It was difficult to narrow down with so much to choose from but in the end, these are my top ten moments from 2018…
