A high-performance, neoprene-free hooded wetsuit made of warm and stretchy 85% Yulex™ natural rubber/15% synthetic rubber. This reduces CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional, non-renewable neoprene. Patagonia uses sustainable natural rubber that is Forest Stewardship Council® certified by the Rainforest Alliance and supports the skilled people who make the suits by being Fair Trade Certified™ sewn. A high-performance, neoprene-free hooded wetsuit made of warm and stretchy 85% Yulex™ natural rubber/15% synthetic rubber. Using sustainable Yulex natural rubber reduces CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional non-renewable limestone or petro-chemical neoprene. The suit is also is Fair Trade Certified™ sewn. As standard, we use Solution-Dyed Recycled Polyester Lining and Water-Based Glue. Suggested water temperatures: 48°–55° F/9°–13° C 4.5mm/3.5mm:

Designed for use in heavy and hazardous surf, the R1® Yulex™ Impact Front-Zip Spring Suit can be worn by itself or paired with a full suit for additional protection.
