The board is highly refined, made for critical, acute surfing in and around the pocket. The Calvin Maine has the contemporary, slightly fuller plan-shape now used on the WSL and also the subtle, continuous rocker lines that offer high performance surfing in good to hollow waves. Fast and foiled for on rail surfing, but full and forgiving for sub-par and sloppy surf. It’s an out and out performance board that still grovels really well. |
