Watch this whole edit all 59 minutes of it as this swell chase is historic. You will see some of the biggest waves I've ever shot. Going back to 1998 I made a movie called Biggest Wednesday Condition Black. It was my first trip to Peahi/Jaws and was literally one of the biggest swells to hit Hawaii back in the day. Well, this was maybe bigger. Held on the same day as the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Contest. There is a good chance that the world's biggest wave was surfed. Peahi/Jaws is literally at the top of the pile when it comes to the best big wave surf spots.

Welcome to my surf trip to Hel, Poland. A destination with a growing and passionate surfing community. In this episode, I explore the unexpected surf culture of the Hel Peninsula during a winter storm, teaming up with renowned Polish surf photographer Krzysztof Jedrzejak who is a pillar of the Polish surf community. There was pun's around every corner, fun waves, great music, welcoming locals and amazing food. I had a Hel time. Dylan Graves
28-year-old Lance Appleby is missing, presumed deceased after being attacked by a shark in South Australia, Granites Bay. What type of shark has not been confirmed but there were reports of an aggressive great white in the area.
Lance was known by many having grown up in Streaky Bay, at present the emergency services are still searching for a body. This tragic incident is just one of other shark attacks in the area. In 2023 Simon Baccanello, died in a suspected shark attack while surfing, and 55-year-old Tod Gendle was sadly killed while surfing at Granites beach, none of the bodies have been recovered.
Our thoughts go out to all affected by these tragic events.
A pretty special day. Maybe not actually the best waves of 2024 but it was definitely the most fun day of surfing.
26th December and unlike every other swell we’ve had this year, which all seemed weird with tides, winds and swell direction, it was the first day it was just me and Conor out and we could surf all day.
Usually there would be some traveling surfers around but with it being Christmas and all, we got some late presents too unwrap. Conor and myself were completely solo all day and had endless tubes and some hectic beatings haha. Gearoid Mcdaid

With strong onshore winds whipping up powerful swells of 2.5 to 3m nearly every day, the conditions were both challenging and breathtaking. A handful of dedicated local surfers braved the winter chill to score some serious kegs.
