After a shitty few months at home over winter due to a broken ankle, I was almost fully healed and frothing for a surf trip & I thought a month of ankle rehab in Indonesia can’t do any harm. I had a couple of new boards made up, a wife and a video camera. We wanted to go away with a plan, to make sure we could make the most of the surf with the least amount of hang overs as possible. I wanted to make up for all the missed water time due to my injury and the last time we were in Bali we got sucked into the Kuta trap and didn’t really score any great waves.
