The Lagundri Bay Magic keeps delivering, as the swells keep rolling through Nias during January.
Few days after the first big swell of the year, Nias got another decent pulse with clean, sunny conditions and only a handful of surfers out.

Surfer Dale Kittow lucky to be alive after shocking shark attack at Cheynes Beach, WA.
"I paddled over a wave and saw a shark about 10m away, it just started circling. I put the board between me and the shark, the shark bit into my board and got tangled in my leg rope and we got dragged for a bit. I hit it a few times." Said Kitto
The attack took place at Cheynes Beach is a small coastal settlement 65km east of Albany. The shark is believed to be a 3-metre bronze whaler.
We started this year in big French barrels, over a week of non-stop waves. A solid swell, in the perfect direction, has been lighting up Hossegor for the past few days to start off the new year in the best way possible.
