Here and home – life on the Big Island with Torrey Meister

“Here & Home” is a new series focusing on the individual lives of O’Neill’s team riders looking at how they spend their time at home and on the road. Torrey owes everything to the Big Island of Hawaii, surfing variable conditions over shallow, sharp reefs. It developed his surfing into what we see today.

Mundaka

Early April saw a late swell light up Mundaka with a 2.5m swell building to 3.5m over two days with decent south to southwest winds getting a little strong at times which for some difficult drops, keeping us entertained! The crowd was on it as per usual being made up of locals, pro’s and traveling surfers.
