Dane Reynolds: Chapter 11

Dane Reynold’s Chapter 11. A film that needs your attention. Honest, inventive and chock full of good surfing as you’d expect. Amongst many other gems it features footage from the Indo trip with Ozzie, Ando, Dion and crew we ran in the summer issue of the mag.

We wish him well in his new venture ‘Former’. As to if and when it ever reaches our shores we’ll let you know.

Blessed by the Smidikks

Competing on the world qualifying series can be frustrating when the surfing conditions are below average. Marc Lacomare took full avantage of a strike mission to have fun with his good friend Tikanui Smith.
Nowadays, it’s pretty rare to enjoy a session with only one of your friend out in the line up, and this is what happened.

ALBEE LAYER BACKSIDE DOUBLE SPIN

Backside 540?

The pursuit of the first ever backside 540 in surfing by Albee Layer. Follow Albee as he wraps his head and body around trying a brand new air in surfing. He battles a few minor injuries and is delayed by a winter that provides better hair raising big waves than conditions conducive to try this move.

South Coast Roast

All manner of fun here, but the killer bit starts at around the 8 minute mark when the dirty slab comes in swinging…

Roast for 72 hours straight on multi crafts with a few m8s. Season with caravan + a coupla cold tinnies. Dice up the odd crusty specimen and you’ve cooked yourself a little south coast slice of iconic Australian summer.
