Hawaiian Heavy

.
Albee, Franny and Billy tackle a once a year slab somewhere in the Hawaiian islands on February 1 2017.
Should’ve used Run DMC’s ‘It’s Tricky!’ as the soundtrack tbh. Love to see a water angle of this joint. Looks savage.

Poo Patrol?

.
Poo Patrol. Delightful name for a gang. But also the title of a good little vid of some fun brown runners.

Barrel fever is spreading among a small group of local surfers this season. And I don’t think it’s from the runoff.

Well… maybe it is.

Tenerife Gigante

A very large swell hit the Canary Islands on January 28, 2017, and in northern Tenerife a group of surfers attacked some of the biggest waves of the year on the north coast.
Respect and admiration to the brave ones that dare ride these enormous waves and to the back up team behind them.

Stingy- Stan Norman

13-year old British grom Stanley Norman kicked off the year with some quality waves down in Portugal. A spell of warmer water and sunny days is always a welcome mid winter break from the hoods, gloves and rain of his hometown of Bude in Cornwall
“We had really fun waves and surfed a lot. We stayed with Nic Von Rupp and it was great to surf with him too. Apart from the waves my favourite thing about Portugal is probably the food – yeah those little custard tart things are brilliant.”
This “Stingy” edit is put together by Onterre films. Action shots by Joel Gray / Surf Solutions. Portrait by Sharpy.

John John Florence: Twelve

Any John John video will get you clicking. The last installment of 12 is no different. Featuring ‘that’ air from this winter in Hawaii and a look at what the champs been up to.

Filipe Toledo- These Days

Filipe Toledo and a lil slice of high performance surfboard riding. Full rotes are the call these days…

These days was filmed in Hawaii in between the end of November and December 2016. The action footage demands a simple and intense song, just like Filipe’s free surfs. As Tony Wilson already said, Joy Division played music because they needed it. And watching this clip it seems that Filipe just needs to surf higher, faster and bigger.
