Follow young German / Costa Rican surfer Leon Glatzer on a journey deep into the Arctic Circle to surf the cold and empty waves. Ever changing conditions: Snow storms, sub zero temperatures, gale force winds, howling onshore. Time to wait, “patience my friend”. The wind swings offshore and the sun shines – timing is everything. Stunning scenery, dramatic snowy mountains, endless fjords, pristine clear water and perfect frigid waves… What a canvas for Leon to take on the elements, not only testing himself mentally, but also testing the endurance of his equipment.
