Arnaud is the rising star of freediving. Born in Marseille in 1996, Arnaud grew up by the sea. With the ocean as a playground, he naturally discovered freediving with his dad. As a struggling kid at school with dyslexia, he finds in the ocean the peace and confidence in himself. Basically he started "breathing again" thanks to freediving. He can hold his breath for a really, really long time, on the 20th May 2019, he broke a new World Record in constant weight bi-fins with a dive to -108m. Check out the footage as he free surfs under the beautiful Tahitian waves.

Slide time with Ryan Burch

Slide time with Ryan Burch

I met Ryan at Cardiff Reef around 2009. He had just shaped his longboard by himself and surfed it really well. A few years after, I visited Ryan’s shaping room and found out his passion for surfing and shaping. Four years later, Ryan was riding an asymmetrical longboard (for backside) at Swami’s. I was blown away by his creative approach for backside nose riding. Currently, Ryan is still constantly pushing the his limits of surfing and shaping. (Tatsuo Takei)

Weird Waves Season 2: Glacier Surfing (Alaska)

Weird Waves Season 2: Glacier Surfing (Alaska)

The Weird Waves Crew wanted to start off season 2 with a bang. They may have taken the idea a little too literally by traveling to Alaska to potentially ride a wave made from falling ice, which makes a deafening crack with each piece of glacier that breaks off to form a wave... no biggie. In this episode they also check out what the locals on the Turnagain Arm are calling, ‘America’s longest wave.’ Saddle up, partners! Season Two of Weird Waves is coming in hot! Well… cold, actually.
