Hurricane Marie brought massive surf to Newport Beach, Orange County and San Diego, delivering some of the best Southern California surfing of the summer, with heavy barrels, big-wave conditions and rarely breaking waves coming to life.

After Newport Point produced one of its best days in years, Marie kept delivering. This episode follows the swell beyond our first Newport Beach session, featuring another incredible day of surfing in Orange County, along with rare hurricane-swell waves throughout San Diego.

The Newport Point footage was captured from a completely different angle this time — looking straight into some of the heaviest barrels of the swell as surfers drove through square tubes, foam balls and some seriously critical sections.

The lineup featured an incredible crew of professional and local surfers, including North Shore standout Koa Rothman, WSL Championship Tour surfer Kanoa Igarashi, and some of Southern California’s best local chargers putting on a show.

Marie also delivered farther south. San Diego saw some rarely breaking waves come alive as the tropical swell filled into Southern California, producing heavy surf, clean barrels and some incredibly unique conditions that only come alive a handful of times.
