Two years after his U16 World Champion title in El Tuncon, Salvador, Quiksilver’s Dylan Donegan became the new ISA U18 World Champion this weekend in Peru. After delivering consistently strong results throughout the first 6 main rounds, Dylan set off for semi-finals, landing a 14.10 that sent him through to finals.

In the final heat of the day, Dylan was faced with Jacob Tuner, Tiger Abubo and Lukas Skinner, taking the win and U18 World Champion title with a final score of 17.50. Our own Lukas Skinner made it to his third consecutive final in the ISA Surfing World Junior Championships, securing a 4th place finish in the U18s.

“This win is probably the most exciting one I’ve had because for me to be a world junior was always a dream but to win twice in a row and be the first guy to ever do it just feels amazing. I’m so stoked I don’t even know what to say just thanks to everyone. I’m truly speechless.”

Over the past couple of years, the young Canarian/Irish surfer has proven himself to be one of the World’s best young talents, securing the WSL Junior European Champion title in 2024 and finishing third in the WSL World Junior Championships the same year.
