The entries for the second phase of The O’Neill Rookie Rippers social media competition is about to close! Get involved and enter Rookie Rippers for the chance to join TEAM O’NEILL. Enter by 30th of September 2023, at 6PM.
O’Neill are giving you another chance to win a spot at our Youth Surf Academy, Rookie Rippers… with guaranteed waves!
The last competition saw O’Neill welcome two new rippers to their family: Teresa Pereira and Francisco Magalhaes.
Sixteen lucky winners will have the chance to refine their skills and take their surfing to the next level, mentored by Team O’Neill riders. Location: The Wave in Bristol, UK.
O’Neill are looking for junior surfers from all over Europe and the UK, aged between 12 and 16.

A panel will be selecting the top videos that advance to the final round, where our Team O’Neill riders will then select the winners to surf under their team flags!
Once you’re in your team, get ready to challenge yourself and push your limits in and out of the water. Only one team will be crowned as The Rookie Rippers champions, and the two strongest surfers will earn a year’s sponsorship and join Team O’Neill!

– Share your best single- wave surf videos and tag @oneilleurope (Instagram) or @oneillofficial (TikTok).
– Use the hashtag #RookieRippers.
– Make sure to complete the entrance form here ! *If you don’t fill in this form your entry will not be included in the judging rounds.
– Boost your chances by entering as many videos as you’d like.
