Last call for donations!

After nearly three years the final stages of the UK ‘Board Drive’ in support of Surfers Not Street Children are under way with a a container ( kindly been sponsored by Down The Line. )ready to leave the UK in January set for Durban and Mozambique.

The container will be loaded in North Devon and we have enough space for around 30 – 40 extra boards to take us over 200 boards, and we also need fins and leashes. Boards need to be in good condition so if you have anything you’re willing to donate for an amazing cause please let me know!

Surfers Not Street Children is a world renowned organisation that empowers street children and children at risk in South Africa and Mozambique and helps them transform their lives. Some have gone from ‘street children’ to becoming coffee baristas, lifesavers, surf shop staff, restauranteurs, surf coaches and even pro surfers.

The boards help the organisation offer safe play, a healing space and engagement through the power of surfing.

If you want to donate a board, fins or leashes there are five drop-off points in the South West…

Croyde – Surfing Croyde Bay
Bude – Zuma Jay
Newquay – North Shore
