Got to be honest, Cottys wipeout in 2017 scared the crap out of me. While other media were calling up asking for wipe quotes and stories all I was worried about was that he would fully recover from his injuries. It could all have been so much worse. The quick precise rescue and first aid he had from his back up was crucial in minimising his injuries in his back.
Now back in the saddle he can look back at it all with 20:20 vision. It’s still freaking scary…
