As a guest at Surfer’s Paradise, you’ll also be able to enjoy full access to all of the facilities at neighbouring Ruda Holiday Park. With everything from tennis courts to a bar, restaurant, cafe and even a fish and chip shop, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do and places to eat. You’ll also find handy amenities camping doesn’t often come with including a laundrette, cash machine, convenience store and off-licence on the park.

Nearby Offshore Surf Shop has two handy locations (one on the beach and one next to Ruda Holiday Park’s reception) offering a wide range of surfing gear to hire or purchase so you don’t need to worry if you forget that all important wetsuit!

TOP TIPS

Croyde works on all tides but is best at low tide when it can get extremely hollow. It works best when the winds are from the SE-NE and on a southerly swell. However it gets rippy at low tide so it’s best avoided by beginners who should head to Saunton for a more mellow surf during that time.

On its day Croyde is one of the best beach breaks in the UK, have fun!
