Boardmasters 2014 have confirmed yet more names for the already outstanding festival bill of the UK’s biggest surf and music festival. Artists including dubstep and BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ MistaJam, singer-songwriter Lewis Watson and surf-loving musicians Sunset Sons will be joining the already announced headliners Chase & Status, Snoop Dogg and Bastille. The music festival will be taking place Friday 8 to Sunday 10 August at the picturesque Watergate Bay site. Tickets are on sale now.

Also announced and confirmed to play across the weekend are Breton, The Feud and Panda, who will all be performing on the Unleashed stage. Confirmed for the Mavericks stage are Darlia, Life, The Bohicas, Evil Devil, Jaws and Save Your Breath. The View stage additions are Bruno Major, Colin Macleod, HNTR, Charlie Hole, Jessica McEvoy, Son of Jack, Lloyd Yates, John J Presley, Kit Trigg, Tom James, Saturday Sun, Robbie Boyd, Leddra Chapman, Kim Churchill, Kerri Watt and Gareth & Annie.

Established in 1981, Boardmasters is a 5-day event situated in two legendary locations in Cornwall. Festivalgoers can spend the day at Fistral Beach, the UK’s surfing mecca, where Boardmasters will host the International Surf Competition as well as BMX and Skate competitions. The crowd can then finish up with an evening of stunning acoustic music at the ‘Beach Sessions’ gig. Headlining the Thursday 7 August Session will be Fink with support from newly announced Thomas J Speight and Marcus McCoan. Wednesday’s line up is still to be announced. Tickets for the Beach Sessions are on sale now.

The festival then continues down at Watergate Bay, arguably the most picturesque festival site in the UK with beautiful, uninterrupted views of the ocean for a weekend of explosive live music. The festival has grown year on year with 2013 seeing over 150,000 visitors.
