MONSTA BOX

(25.6 litres)
FINS: FCS 2 Tri-fi n
PRICE: £555.00

Over the last couple of years the Monsta 3 has been the most popular performance shortboard for when the waves turn on. The Blak Box 2 is one of the most versatile small wave machines out there. Put them together and you have the Monsta Box. A surfboard that takes the best
elements of both to suit an even wider range of waves and surfers than ever before. It is a one board quiver to suit a whole range of riders and conditions. Best suited to one to six foot average to good conditions.

BLAK BOX 2
ROUND TAIL

5’8″ x 19 1/2″ x 2 1/4″
(25.6 litres)
FINS: FCS 2 5 Fin
PRICE: £555.00

A no-nonsense, well balanced surfboard that’s built to perform in small to medium conditions. This is exactly what the likes of you and I, the day to day keen surfer, wants in a board. Now that they’ve added the five fin set up and the round tail, the Blak Box 2 round tail will hold better in steeper waves. Whack a quad fin set on it, and you’ll be pushing through sections you never made before.

107 ROUND
TAIL

5’6″ x 20″ x 2 1/2″
(29.4 litres)
FINS: FCS 2 5 Fin
PRICE: £555.00

Parko’s favourite board for small waves is now available as a round tail, giving more hold in steeper waves, more release through the tail yet not losing the small wave performance. Everything you’d want in a small wave board whilst retaining enough performance characteristics to permit radical, new-school surfing. The nose is wide yet conventional while the round tail is pulled in enough to allow tight turns in the pocket and give hold in steep sections. This board is all about catching waves, grabbing speed and firing through turns.

MONSTA 3
ROUND TAIL

5’9″ x 18 1/2″ x 2 3/16″
(23.8 litres)
FINS: Futures Tri-fi n
PRICE: £515.00

Just like the Monsta 3 squash tail, the M3 round tail is an all out performance shortboard. Keeping the same modifications that’s been made to the Monsta 3 for 2016, the M3 round tail has a slight hip on the outline for quicker turns and more drive through the tail. The rails have been softened a touch to make it more forgiving. Medium rails, allowing performance turns without being too ‘catchy’ in choppy or soft sections, slight entry rocker creates speed and drive in small to average conditions, and a medium exit rocker provides a good balance between drive and release through the tail. The Monsta 3 works best in average to good waves from up to six foot.

MONSTA 6

6’1″ x 19″ 2 3/8″
(28.1 litres)
FINS: Futures Tri-fi n
PRICE: £515.00

The Monsta 3 has been reworked and modified to create what is surely going to be another absolute scorcher of a performance shortboard. The Monsta 3 has been reworked and modified to create what is surely going to be another absolute scorcher of a performance shortboard. The finer details of the changes were still under wraps at time of print so give one of the guys at Down the Line Surf Co. a ring for all the info.

Fast and forgiving, Julian Wilson’s AIR17 is an everyday board that offers a progressive approach to small wave surfing. Julian Wilson and JS have been working on this model since 2013 and have produced a fast and forgiving everyday board that offers a progressive approach to small wave surfing.
