Nixon has released the Regulus, an element-proof, dual chronograph watch. Durable enough to withstand the demands from the world’s top snowboarders, surfers, and skaters, the Regulus is uniquely designed for those seeking a quintessential watch that provides basic operational necessity without excess.

Reflecting the brand’s Team Designed, Custom Built ethos, Nixon developed The Regulus through input from current and former special ops personnel. The result: a minimalistic, high function digital watch that can stand up to the harshest maritime, dryland, and high altitude conditions. Retailing for €150.00/ £120.00, The Regulus will be available globally in February 2018 at select retail stores and online at Nixon.com

The custom digital LCD module boasts a 10 ATM (100 meter) water-resistance rating and features protective PORON XRD™ that lends to tough shock absorption and sturdiness.

An oversized display and customisable LED backlight provide clear visibility in dark and underwater settings.

The Regulus is equipped with a five-year battery life, dual chronographs, visible from all mode screens, with a 1/100-second resolution to provide precision time telling.

Large, water-resistant polycarbonate pushers located at 6 and 9 o’clock allow for easy control during deep-water operations.

Additional digital functions include: dual time, 12 or 24 hour time, date, auto-calendar through 2099, count down timer, three customisable alarm options, and silent mode setting.

The Regulus is fit with a custom injection moulded TPU 80 free-swing band. Tapering from 29mm to 24mm, the band features a water flow texture on its bottom side, a patented locking looper, and a stainless steel buckle with stainless steel screw down bar
