Cider Maker / Cidery Manager
As the cider market continues to grow in popularity across the world, Albens Cider has taken advantage of this market being one of the only cider producers in South East Asia. Based on the magical island of Bali, Indonesia it provides an excellent base for a great career and lifestyle balance.
Currently we are expanding our production to cover the growing export market globally. Albens Cider are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has experience with cider, wine or beer to manage, lead and train their production team.
Duties / Responsibilities
• Primarily responsibility is the technical process production of
cider and managing of approximately 20 factory staff
• Process Control (Raw material specification, Base product
specification, Blended product formulation, etc.)
• Ensuring bottling line is maintained
• Ensuring procurement of raw materials in a timely manner
• Weekly and monthly standard reporting
• Factory upkeep
• Quality Assurance
• Product Profiling
• New Product Development
• Training and developing staff
• Continuous improvement activities
Skills / Experience
• Excellent knowledge of the science of cider/wine making
preferably with a relevant degree
• Experience of process manufacturing environment
• Management capabilities
• Ability to train and motivate team
• Quality auditing experience
• Good IT skills
• Ability to manage deadlines
• Good problem solving skills and an ability to work under
pressure
• Calm, clear decision maker
• Flexible approach
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn the local
language.
