ENDLESS WINTER SCREENING tonight in Plymouth
If you’re in the Plymouth area, get along to a special screening of The Endless Winter, featuring Mitch Corbett and Mark Harris, tonight (Friday 5 October). The film, made for Channel 4, follows Mitch and Egor on a journey around Blighty as they visit iconic surf spots and find out how the Brit surf scene evolved. Tickets are free but numbers are limited; to reserve a seat call Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery on 01752 304774, email museum@plymouth.gov.uk or visit the museum between 10am and 5pm. The film will be shown at the Jill Craigie Cinema in the Roland Levinsky Building of the university; doors open at 6.30pm.
The screening marks the close of the highly successful history of surfing exhibition at the museum, Endless Summer: The Evolution of Surfing. Saturday (6 October) is your last chance to get along to see the exhibition, which features vintage boards, surf art, movies, photos and much more.
