Surfers in 6 categories – Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Pro Junior, U-16 Boys, U-16 Girls and U-12 – will compete in a bid to win a share of the largest prize purse on the UK Pro Tour, with all divisions holding qualifying points for the GB Squad.

New in 2012 is the addition of a night Expression Session on Friday evening, where the country’s best aerial surfers push the progression of the sport in a display of aerial domination. Friday also sees the opportunity for 24 local surfers to paddle out and experience surfing under the floodlights in the Carve Magazine Public Session. This non-judged event can be entered exclusively through Carve – www.carvemag.com from Friday 7th September.

Out of the water, spectators will be able to watch a showcase from the UK’s finest surfers with DJs supplying the soundtrack and a premiere of Kai Neville’s Surfing film ‘Dear Suburbia’, featuring Nike Surfing’s Kolohe Andino & Julian Wilson.
