Hossegor, France- Nixon is proud to welcome French surfer Marc Lacomare to the Nixon European surf Team.

Marc’s promotion to the European team comes off the back of the 21-year-old’s emphatic victory at the latest Nixon Surf Challenge in La Graciosa in the Canary Islands.

The multiple French Junior Champion and former ASP Billabong World Junior Champion is no stranger to the Nixon family having previously been on the Nixon flow program. Following Marc’s impressive showing in the Canary Islands, the team made a unanimous decision to promote the Hossegor-based surfer to the European surf team.

Reflecting on his new status in the Nixon set-up, Marc said: “It’s a real honor to be part of the Nixon Team, and to call guys like Jose Maria Cabrera, Benjamin Sanchis and Jonathan Gonzales my teammates. I had a killer week in La Graciosa surfing with them all, and this special recognition from all the guys feels great!”
