etnies is working towards the goal of being carbon neutral by 2020. With this design the next eco tee facebook competition etnies keeps taking steps in the right direction, one step at the time. Emphasizing on the successful and inspiring “ Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree” project this competition underlines etnies dedication to make you part of the brand and to work together to keep the planet a healthy playground.

etnies is known for innovation in their Action Sports inspired products and instead of following the social media progression, etnies has decided to also take its first steps online and develop an interactive Facebook application for the launch of this ‘Design a Eco Tee contest’.

As a true Action Sports brand etnies worked together with their key riders in the likes of Snowboarder Danny Larsen, etnies BMXer Sergio Layos and etnies Skater Willow on a funny video, which explains how the competition works. Make sure to watch it and pick up your skills and join etnies in designing the next eco tee.

The challenge in “design the next etnies eco tee contest” is to create creative designs based upon applications and designs around the planet and environment. The 2 designs that received the most votes on the Facebook application will go into production. On top of that, a team of etnies designers will select 2 designs that will also go in to production to be part of the etnies Spring 2013 line!

In addition to the 4 winners having their design featured in the collection, the design with the most votes will win 5 pairs of etnies Eco Jameson shoes and a handmade wooden surfboard.

The competition ends on Wednesday June 6th 2012
