This Sunday, Fistral Beach Will Be The Hub Of The Best Junior Surfers In The UK!
Everything is in place for this year Etnies XPY Pro Junior! The conditions have been assessed, with the official call to run on Sunday the 18th September. The swell is set to be in the 4ft+ range, a great platform for the UK’s junior elite to perform!
Etnies shoes are on board as title sponsor along with associated sponsors Tiger24, Fistral Beach Bar & Fistral Beach Surf Hire.
We have also just confirmed ‘Adams surfboards’ as our last minute sponsor, coming through and making the event possible! Tom Cullen, director of Adams Industries commented on the XPY/Adams partnership, “We are so happy to step on board in the crucial days leading up to this years XPY event. Adams Industries philosophy has always been to help push UK surfing through our surfboards, and with the collaboration with the most prestigious junior surf event in the country, we feel it is our duty to help aid one of the fundamental building blocks for the UK’s junior competitive surfers! We are also excited to give away a brand new Lewis Clinton shape. Lewis has been working with us for some time now and is already building progressive surfboards. Adams & Lewis feel this would be a perfect opportunity to stage his shapes!”
This years event is a 1* rated on the UK Pro Surf Tour, including the UK’s best Under 16′s and Pro Junior category surfers.
Jack Clinton, contest director and founder of XPY commented on this year’s event, “I’m buzzing about this years event! It has been a hard year and I would like to thank to all the sponsors and support from the professionals that I work with for the event. There will be good waves, and i’m confident with the call that Sunday will be the best day. I have a brilliant panel of judges and excited to get the right result and run another successful XPY contest! See you there!”.
